What happens in the game when I scan a Telepod?

You can scan your Telepods to play as a character before unlocking them through gameplay. The scanned character will also get a boost in all of that character’s stats. If you have already unlocked the character through gameplay, scanning a Telepod for that character will still give that character a stat boost!
