You can receive head-start boosters as rewards. These are currently available only in the tournament levels, so you will be able to use the rewards when the next tournament starts, by selecting them on the tournament levels before entering the level. The amount of boosters you have is displayed in the pre-level screen on tournament levels where the boosters are not free.
I received boosters as rewards but cannot see them in the game, where are they?
